Dyson Supersonic Black Friday 2026 UK: Hair Dryer Models Explained

Two names to look for on a Supersonic listing are the plain Supersonic and the Supersonic Nural. The Nural has a distance sensor and a Scalp protect mode, and ships with five attachments. A British shopper should also confirm the plug and the attachments shown.

What sets the Nural apart

An infrared time-of-flight sensor measures how far the dryer is from your hair. Switch on Scalp protect and the heat lowers to roughly 55°C as you move in, while a light on the capsule moves from yellow to orange to red. Attachment learning keeps the last heat and airflow you used with each attachment, and pause detect cuts the heater when you put the dryer down between passes.

The Supersonic shares its digital motor V9 with the Dyson Airwrap.

Attachments in the box

The Nural comes with a Wave+Curl diffuser, a gentle air attachment, a styling concentrator, a wide-tooth comb and a flyaway attachment. The comb and the flyaway attachment do not work with Scalp protect.

Buying with a UK plug

If the dryer is coming from an overseas seller, check that the plug is UK three-pin and the voltage suits Britain. A UK-market listing avoids the problem. Look for the word Nural in the title if you want the sensor, and count the attachments in the photos.

Condition, seller feedback and returns matter too, and warranty terms can depend on who sold it. The Dyson Black Friday UK hub covers the other Dyson products.
