The Keurig K-Supreme comes in three versions for Black Friday 2026: the K-Supreme, the K-Supreme Plus and the K-Supreme Plus SMART. All three brew K-Cup pods with MultiStream, which uses five streams of water instead of one. The Plus models add more settings, and the SMART adds app control and pod recognition.

What MultiStream changes

Keurig introduced the K-Supreme and K-Supreme Plus in 2020 as its first brewers with multi-stream technology, aimed at better extraction from the pod. Older Keurig machines push water through a pod in a single stream. The K-Supreme spreads it over five, so the grounds get wet more evenly.

The rest of the machine works like any Keurig: fill the tank, drop in a pod, choose a size and press brew. It still takes standard K-Cup pods, so a cupboard of pods you already own will work in it.

Keurig K-Supreme coffee makers to compare

Match the model name on the box first: K-Supreme, K-Supreme Plus or K-Supreme Plus SMART. Then check that the listing says new and shows the water reservoir and drip tray.

The three versions side by side

What to check K-Supreme K-Supreme Plus K-Supreme Plus SMART
Reservoir 66 oz, two positions Check the listing 78 oz, removable
Cup sizes 6, 8, 10 or 12 oz Check the listing Five sizes
Strength Strong button Strength and temperature settings Five strength options
Temperature Not listed Strength and temperature settings Six temperature settings
App and pod recognition No No Keurig app and BrewID

The standard K-Supreme has a 66 oz tank that can sit in either of two positions, which helps on a narrow counter. It brews 6, 8, 10 or 12 oz cups, has a Strong button, can brew hot coffee over ice and fits a mug up to 7 inches tall.

The K-Supreme Plus adds temperature and strength controls to the MultiStream design. Model details vary between retailers and finishes, so read the reservoir size and cup sizes on the listing itself rather than assuming they match the SMART.

Who the K-Supreme Plus SMART suits

The K-Supreme Plus SMART launched in July 2021 as the first brewer with BrewID. It reads the brand and roast of the pod and sets the brew to the roaster’s recommendation, and Keurig said it covered more than 900 pod varieties at launch. You can still change the size, strength and temperature yourself.

Through the Keurig app you can save your preferred settings, schedule a brew ahead of time or start one remotely. It needs Wi-Fi for those features, so the SMART only makes sense if you plan to use the app. If not, the plain Plus covers the brewing controls.

For a machine that also makes a full pot, see the K-Duo. The Keurig Black Friday guide covers all four lines.

Before you buy a K-Supreme

  1. Read the exact name on the box or listing: K-Supreme, Plus or Plus SMART.
  2. Measure the counter, including the space behind the machine if the tank sits at the back.
  3. Measure your tallest mug against the 7 inch clearance.
  4. For a SMART model, confirm it is new or properly reset, so it can be linked to your own app account.
  5. Check the condition, warranty and returns policy.
