Which frother fits your drinks

The Aeroccino3 is the plain choice. One button covers hot milk, hot froth and cold froth. If you mostly make a latte or cappuccino, it does the job.

The Aeroccino4 splits foam into two textures: airy foam for cappuccino and dense foam for latte macchiato. It also has a hot milk setting and a cold froth setting. The extra control can help with plant-based milks, which foam differently from dairy. The spout makes pouring easier, and the jug can go in the dishwasher, though the base cannot.

The Barista goes further. It is a recipe maker with a touchscreen and a Bluetooth app, and it can prepare drinks such as cappuccino, flat white, mocha and hot chocolate. For iced drinks you add ice to the jug. It makes one drink at a time and does not brew coffee.
