The Galaxy Watch9 is Samsung’s main 2026 watch, the Ultra2 is the large titanium model with the longest battery, the Watch8 Classic keeps a rotating bezel and the Watch FE is the small entry model. For Black Friday 2026 in the UK, pick the model and case size, then decide on Bluetooth or an LTE version for your network.
Four models to choose from
The Watch9 comes in 40mm and 44mm aluminium cases, with up to 30 hours of battery with the always-on display. The Ultra2 has a 47mm titanium case and up to 60 hours. Both were announced in July 2026.
The Watch8 Classic, from July 2025, has a 46mm stainless steel case, sapphire glass and a physical rotating bezel for scrolling. The Watch FE is a single 40mm size with sapphire crystal glass. It first went on sale in June 2024, so it is the oldest of the four.
Samsung Galaxy Watches to compare
Galaxy Watch models differ in case size, materials and whether they take a mobile connection. Check the model, the case size and the LTE label in each listing.

Phones and health features
You need an Android phone, and recent models (Watch7 and later) need Android 11 or later. No current Galaxy Watch works with an iPhone. Some features need a Samsung Galaxy phone specifically: ECG and blood pressure readings run through the Samsung Health Monitor app, which only installs on Galaxy phones. With a Pixel or another Android handset, activity and sleep tracking still work.
Case size and fit
Case size is about the wrist as much as the screen. A 40mm case suits a smaller wrist and is lighter to wear overnight for sleep tracking. The 44mm Watch9, and the bigger Classic and Ultra cases, give more room for maps and messages but sit thicker under a shirt cuff. If you can, compare the size against a watch you already own. Spare straps are made to fit particular models and widths, so check that a strap listing names your watch and case size.
LTE on a UK network
An LTE watch has an eSIM rather than a physical SIM card. Once a network adds it to your plan, the watch can take calls, send messages and stream music while your phone stays at home.
| Before you pick LTE | Why |
|---|---|
| Your network offers watch eSIM plans | Not every network or tariff does |
| Your plan type is eligible | Rules differ by tariff, so ask |
| The watch is a UK model | An LTE model made for another country may not connect |
| You will use it away from your phone | Otherwise Bluetooth does the same job |
The Watch8 Classic and Watch FE both come in Bluetooth and LTE versions. Ask your network which Galaxy Watch models it supports before you buy.
Last checks on a listing
Read the generation number and the case size first, then “LTE” or “Bluetooth” in the title. Look for the charger in the photos and a UK plug if a power adaptor is included. Then check the condition, seller feedback and returns terms. For a new television, see the Samsung TV page; the Samsung Black Friday UK hub covers the brand.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use an LTE Galaxy Watch on any UK network?
Only on a network that offers a smartwatch eSIM plan for your phone contract, and plan rules differ between networks. Ask your network before choosing the LTE version, and be wary of LTE models made for another country.
Will a Galaxy Watch work with my iPhone?
No. Samsung says no current Galaxy Watch works with an iPhone, because the Watch4 and later rely on Google Play services.
